Class: Year 4 Year: 2019 - 2020
We have been listening to 'The Carnival of Animals' by Camille Saint-Saens and after predicting each animal in our lesson last week, today we discussed how the tempo of the music helped us to make our choice. We worked in pairs to match up animals to different tempos and learnt some new musical terms to describe the speed of a piece of music.
Using the iPads, we then made our own piece of music linked to a particular animal. At the end of the lesson, we presented our music to the class and we had to decide which tempo was being used and which animal it could represent.
