World Maths Day

Date: 15th Oct 2020 @ 5:37pm

Today we celebrated World Maths Day in Year 3/4 using the wonderful book 'How many legs?' by Kes Gray and Jim Field.

As different animals came round for tea, the class had to try and add up how many legs there were in the room at any one time.  It got particularly tricky to keep up when a squid rode in on a buffalo!

We then had to get out thinking caps on to try and work out different comvinations of creatures that could have possibly been at the party if there were 16 or 32 legs in total.

We have also started creating our own books to test our friends with!
