Returning to School

Date: 19th Jun 2020 @ 2:45pm

On Monday 22nd June, some of you will be returning to school. It won't be school quite as you left it and you will only be in school for 4 days each week.
As you may be accessing Mathletics, TTRS and the VLE, please remember your passwords!
If you are coming back on Monday to Group A, you will have Mrs Scott and Miss Hadfield on Monday and Tuesday then Miss Heath and Miss Hadfield on Wednesday and Thursday.

If you are in Group B, Miss Oldham and Mrs Hurst will teach you on Monday and Tuesday and then Mrs Campbell and Mrs Hurst will be your teachers on Wednesday and Thursday. You will then only have the Friday Family Maths Challenge to do at home.

You will be doing PE outside and you have been asked to wear clothes that will be comfortable to do this as you will not be getting changed. We have planned some art and other fun activities and we will be giving you the time to talk. The situation we have found ourselves in over the last few weeks has been a different experience for everyone. I have talked to your teachers about each of you and we, like you, have had some tough days. Sharing your thoughts and feelings with people you trust is part of the process of understanding what has happened and how it continues to affect our daily lives. I will still be here if you need me, post a message on the VLE and I will respond.

For those of you staying at home,  I will continue to make phone calls and keep in touch. I will be checking that you are getting on with some work at home too, as you only have a few weeks before starting high school!

I have received the transition project information from CHSL  and you should have your booklets posted directly to you from them to be completed at home if you are not returning to school. The PIXL "Go Awesome Go Big" project is split into 9 sessions. I will put these on the VLE so that you can read them before completeing each section. Please let me know if you need any help with this.

Take care everyone, I am so proud of you.
