Gardens and hedgerows

Date: 15th May 2020 @ 5:46pm

Hello Year 3/4,

We've finished another week of lockdown and we hope you're all okay.  After the socially distanced V.E. Day celebrations last weekend, we weren't expecting many children to post onto our discussion this week, but we've had lots of photographs of the gorgeous plants that you're growing!  You're a green fingered bunch it would seem, so we've made a suggestion of keeping a diary on the discussion this week.  Please keep sharing your pictures with us.

Even if you're not growing from scratch, the gardens and hedgerows are overflowing with new growth at the moment.  You've no doubt realised from your Home Learning Pack, we'd be looking at the Plant unit in science now.  Next time you're outside, have a really good look at the plants and trees in your garden.  What is happening?  What's changing?  Why?  What do you think will happen next?

Don't forget to go over to the discussion to get involved!

Have a good weekend.

Mrs Scott and Miss Heath
