Food for thought

Last week's theme was all about food which is something I know will have appealed to everyone, including me! We all have our favourite treats and meals. Some of you have learnt how to cook and bake over lock down, making the most of this opportunity. Some of you have been kind enough to make meals for your whole family, and I don't just mean helping out with the BBQ!
Isabelle H and her family had a busy week sharing out the cooking and here are a couple of the things she did. She looked at how our meals need to be a balance of foods from different food families such as carbohydrates, fats and protein. Isabelle also made a delicious chocolate ice cream dessert which as she described it to me over the phone made me want to forget lock down rules and pop round for one. It looks delicious!
